Giving Back to the Community

Diverse hands forming a circle symbolizing unity and cooperation.

What it means

The SHAC is a nonprofit organization, an asset created for and nourished by the community. Our vision encompasses every person seeking a space for community creativity and expression. The SHAC understands that many creatives are looking for affordable pottery classes but may find it difficult to access ceramics education due to financial constraints. If this describes you or someone you know, please reach out to us. We will never turn a student away for the inability to pay.

Who We Are

Our Mission

The concept behind South Hills Artists Collaborative was born from our passion for ceramics and a commitment to fostering community creativity. We aim to create an inviting space where artists of all levels can come together to learn, create, and collaborate. As a team of local artists, teachers, and visionaries, we recognize the importance of a supportive community and the availability of affordable pottery classes. With this vision in mind, we are establishing South Hills Artists Collaborative, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, to meet the demand for ceramics education in the South Hills area. When you join us at SHAC, you become part of a community that values creativity and collaboration. This space truly belongs to the people of that community, embodying the essence of a nonprofit!
